7 years of experience in business or project management related functions, at least 5 years of experience in logistics operations.

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Supervise and coach logistics workforce.
Analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Develop and implement work scope of services to support operations
Establish and update guidelines and work procedures for all logistics services activities as a reference for operational compliance
Ensure compliance of service provider and operated facilities to (KAUST) HSE safety standards and Security policies and procedures
Supervise a team of professionals, develop them, ensure succession plans are in place, and ensure they are adequately managing subordinates.
Ensure customers satisfaction.
Manage the relationship with service providers to ensure smooth operation.
Hold regular meetings with service providers to review performance and resolve issues to ensure service excellence
Prepare operational expenditure plan and monitors actual spending of allocated budget in line with financial responsibility
Promote sharing of best practices and collaboration with internal partners at KAUST and end-users to achieve customer satisfaction while optimizing cost
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Generate and present regular reports and reviews of logistics services-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
Motivate staff and identify training needs to develop skills and job knowledge
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position
