Develop / update and implement a retail marketing strategy for the retail shops and meet tenant performance and customers’ objectives.
Develop and implement a strategy to meet the demographic and population targeted plan and trend
Identify potential tenants in line with the developed marketing strategy and proactively advance negotiations to secure commitments
Secure and administer leases for spaces in use and to be built
Prepare and implement inspections yearly plan to visit retail shops
Prepare and present financial analysis to maintain consistency of leasing program with financial plan
Provide high-level advice to Manager, Community Services on retail strategic planning and business opportunities, risk management and continuous quality improvement.
Establish and manage commercial strategy programs for retail services and to generate revenue for KAUST and reduce operations cost.
Manage all aspects of achieving the department overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities specific for Retail shops (Food and Non Food) Services, and other related facilities.
Coordinate with retailers/catering service providers to provide catering services for business and personal functions/events.
Ensure the hygiene, quality and safety of all food and catering services.
Manage future retail developments.
Undertake the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the retail operations.
Implement Retail Services operational systems, processes and policies to support management reporting, information flow, business processes and organizational planning.
Monitor / track customers feedback through the approved communications channels, and resolve concerns
Manage customers’ relationships, contracts, compliance and interfaces issues
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position.
