Practical experience with image acquisition and processing techniques using NMRI.

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, and comply with HSE policies.
Strong ability to write and present scientific reports and manuscripts for journal and conference publications.
Relevant experience in core flooding would be an added advantage.
Operate and maintain low-field NMR and low-to-high field MRI equipment.
Use NMRI to perform research procedures related to rock analysis, fluid flow in porous media, and rock – fluid interaction at high pressure and temperature.
Evaluate and implement new Magnetic Resonance Imaging methods and techniques for rock and fluid analysis.
Execute routine and new NMR/MRI pulse sequences.
Perform regular quality assurance procedures on the scanner, data acquisition and archiving of imaging data.
Perform data processing, analysis, and reports. Keep proper record of research data and reports.
Participate in NMRI related research projects and conduct independent studies.
Implement safety standards in general and in particular follow safety precautions applicable to RF electromagnetic radiation.
Assist in training other staff to perform MRI studies and perform other related jobs as may be assigned.
