Minimum 10 years of Plant Operation and Maintenance activities.
5 years (out of the 10 years) in supervisory role.
3 Years of field work with technical coordination of industrial operation activities.

Control and coordinate the activities across the Operations and end users areas to ensure the fulfilment of water quality, chilled water demand and electrical requirements outside the normal working hours.
• Supervise the operations of Utilities during the shift and ensure that all activities are in accordance with the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Conservation and Energy efficiency.
• Manage and ensure Emergency Response preparedness during the shift and lead immediate actions response to deal with upset or unstable operational conditions in coordination with all involved personnel, including the Fire Shift Supervisor, the Security Shift Supervisor and the medical support, if needed.
• Launch the Emergency Response in case of large event and request external support if needed. Submit regular reports to Utilities Management along with factual description of the Utilities Plants accidents/ incidents.
• Coordinate and ensure the effective stabilization of Utilities Plants operational conditions during upsets or transitory phases when more than one area is affected.
• Coordinate and follow-up the overall start-up or shutdown activities during the shift when more than one area is involved according to the predefined plans, schedules and instructions developed by Utilities management.
• Control and coordinate the activities across the Operations and end users areas to ensure the fulfilment of water quality, chilled water demand and electrical requirements outside the normal working hours.
• Handover the Emergency Response responsibility to the next post command / Incident commander.
• Authorize and launch emergency maintenance activities outside the normal working hours.
• Ensure and support the realization of risk analysis for any unusual operational or maintenance activities during outside the working hours and authorize the hot work, if needed.
• Authorize specific activities out of normal hours, such as the emergency supplies of chemicals and fill and transmit shift superintendent report.
• Approve all types of gate passes after working hours.
• Audit and monitor the O&M of Utilities plants after working hours as required.
• Provide clear and concise reports on all shift activities to the manager and to the proceeding shift Superintendent.
• Escalation of any serious operational breeches / audit non-conformances.
• Conduct regular inspection tours throughout his shift for his area of responsibilities, and report any abnormalities (operational, safety, behavior, etc.).
• Ensure all work permit requirement are met including (Risk Assessment and Method Statement, PPE, etc.).
• Act as a single point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders including (SEC, HSE, Government Affairs, Research Park tenants, Campus, etc.).
• Assist the Operation & maintenance managers in evaluating the quality and quantity of all work performed by Operation and Maintenance service provider using existing controls, procedures and standards and whenever necessary, suggests changes to these controls, procedures and standards.
