The Process engineer is required to support the Gas Compression Program mega project activities during the precommissioning, commissioning, start up and normal operations post the startup of the South Ghawar and Remote Gas Producing Department facilities, and establish the department main process functions in energy and process related aspects as follows:
Participate in precommissioning and commissioning of new equipment, field checkout and testing and participate in PMCCs and MCCs walkthroughs and prepare exception list and work on resolution of process related exception items.
Lead and participate in teams preparing the startup, normal operation, and shutdown procedures and developing of department#s OIMs. Provide field support during startups, shutdowns, and initial T&Is for all major process equipment that is required after one year from on stream date/commissioning.
Conduct process performance evaluations by conducting performance test to assess, troubleshoot and optimize gas compression processes. Review and evaluate design or proposed changes.
Work on developing the basic aspects of "layers of protection" as mandated by the new corporate program Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) as they apply to protection of process facilities from hazardous incidents.
