Technical Skills:

·     Knowledge of soil and plant growth in open field conditions

Non- Technical Skills:

·     Good customer service and interpersonal skills

·     Positive thinking and willing to accept responsibilities 

Ability to adapt to and shift priorities, and effectively perform under pressure to meet project demands or deliverables

Role

·     Responsible for plant care

·     Responsible for soil preparation    

·     Daily inspection of field plots and reporting issues, if any including pest and disease problems

·     Supporting daily tasks on the field site to support the different research programs

·     Installation and maintenance of bird netting

·     Assist in planting, thinning and harvesting of plants

·     Regularly checking and audit all the project work being conducted at the field site has proper approvals including safety trainings.

·     Assist in field site facility consumables and assets, inventory, management and replacement planning

Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position
