Skills

Previous construction experience within the Major Infrastructure projects

Formal engineering training and technical qualification

Good to have ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ISO 9712 or EN 473 Level II as a minimum

Ability to Prepare, implement, monitor and update project specific Contract Quality Plan

Ability to plan and coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities in line with national

and international quality norms /rules /regulations

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages (e.g.

MS Project, Outlook, WinPCS, etc.)

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Role

Creating and maintaining the Company's Quality Standards; develop, implement and maintain the Company's quality

documentation, such as quality procedures, reports etc.

Establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality awareness throughout the various departments.

Develop and initiate quality standards for tests, inspections and evaluations.

Design and develop forms and instructions for evaluating, assessing, reporting and documenting on quality issues during

construction or manufacturing.

Develop strategies to evaluate precision and accuracy of analytical equipment, tests & measurements and

production equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to quality control aspects.

Lead, direct, assist and train team of Inspectors during construction or manufacturing.

Liaise with managers and Inspectors to ensure the smooth conductance of inspection activities and for reporting and

reducing quality issues.

Work with cross-functional teams to generate Inspection Test Plans that ensures good quality products are

produced.

Inspect to ensure that products and processes comply with requirements, using established engineering

techniques.

Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

Analyze the root causes and implement corrective actions for processes or parts that have concerns.

Responsible for organizing and managing the activities of receiving and outgoing quality functions.

Continuously improving Quality Control processes and procedures.

Maintain, monitor and ensure highest quality in services or products.

Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the products and the environment; through training

and work instructions
