Senior Automation Engineer, Life Support System (LSS)

Experience Details

 PLC systems, automation and HMI products, programming softwares, network switches and profibus/profinet topologies.

 Experience operating and maintaining LSS.

 Knowledge and experience of all LSS equipment, e.g. pumps, VFD, ozone system and heat exchangers.

 

Skills

Good knowledge in relevant international automation standards.

Experience in the application of variable speed drive systems and the use of SCADA systems within an industrial environment.

Strong knowledge in the application of software solutions in Industrial Control Systems.

Good knowledge in various operation systems such as MS windows and Windows servers.

Excellent knowledge of process field devices and instrumentations.

Experience with the understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and E-Plans.

Ability to report “in detail” issues relevant to the automation process.

Strong communication capability in Control System technical aspects.

Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Autocad etc.).

Good command of both written and spoken English.

 

Role

Configure, write and adjust ACS program to build robust and scalable systems for control, monitoring and data acquisition.

Proactively monitor and maintain systems software backups.

Troubleshoot and rectify ACS breakdowns and give root cause analysis on incidents. 

Ensuring all ACS components are operational and up to the facility expectation.

Managing scheduled preventive maintenance of the ACS infrastructure.

Maintaining system servers, routers and network switches.

Maintaining the ACS spare parts inventory.

Participate actively in all new system testing and commissioning.

Proposing system enhancement initiatives and working with various department on system enhancement and expansion initiatives/projects.

Provide afterhours/weekend support where and when necessary.

Respond to site in emergency cases.

Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her                    position.

Review and write Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).

Performing periodic performance tests of systems SOP.

Complying with the Campus HSE safety Standards and procedures.
